Appointments -  please be advised that this appointment service has been suspended until further notice

You can now book your appointment in person by phone or online - please download registration form from quick links "online Services" and bring along to practice to register for our online services. We try to see urgent cases without a prior appointment. Our audits show that normally we can offer an appointment within two working days.

Extended Hours Surgery

The Practice offers late night appointments on Tuesday evening for people who cannot attend during normal surgery hours.  Please note this is a restricted service. There are no nursing services available and it is not possible to do bloods or urine at this surgery. Appointments can be made at reception desk.

Telephone Access

If you wish to speak to a doctor please telephone leaving an up-to-date number and doctor will call you back when available. The Practice nurse will also be available to take your calls.

Interpreters

Updated versions of the leaflet are available from the website – The instructions for using the app remain the same. To ensure you are always using the most up to date version of the resource and seeing all the languages available, please always access them via the NHSGGC website.

We are pleased to confirm the following updates –

· In addition to contacting NHSGGC services, patients can now use the telephone interpreting service to contact 999

· Early issues using the service to contact NHS 24 (111) have now been resolved

· 3 additional languages have been requested and are now available on the NHSGGC website.

How the resource works -

These resources are for patients and contain a code which allows all patients to make direct contact with the telephone interpreting service. For example, patients can now use the telephone interpreting service to call from home and make an appointment with their GP, discuss medications with their Pharmacy, book a Maternity appointment or contact NHS 24.

Missed Appointments

The practice is aware that is it difficult to get an appointment with the doctor of your choice at short notice. Most patients keep their appointments but every month there are  appointments that are missed.  The practice has a policy whereby persistent DNA's or missed appointments may result in removal from our practice list.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
